Overview
The Royal Island Resort and Spa is 110km from the Male’ International Airport and is Located in Baa Atoll. The Island itself is 800m in length and 220m in width. It takes 30 minutes to reach the resort island by air and 2 1/2 hours by speedboat from the Male' International Airport.
This five star resort features 150 luxury beach bungalows, all of them facing the white beach and Indian Ocean. With beautiful Banyan trees and lush green shrub land and white sandy beaches, the resort is surrounded by the crystal clear blue lagoon encompassing spectacular tropical marine life.

Entertainment
At Royal island resort there is a well equipped PADI diving center available for guests who want to explore the abundant marine life of the coral reef. A diving instructor is available to both beginner divers and experienced divers. Other activities include windsurfing, catamaran boating and jet skiing.
There are two restaurants at Royal Island resort: Raabondhi & Maakanaa, that serve buffet-style and continental cuisine. In both these restaurants, guests could enjoy, discover a new world of tastes in a simple yet elegant surrounding with open air as well as indoor dining.
There is also the Fun Pub which is designed for entertainment, offering a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. At Fun Pub, there’s also the chance to make some music of your own at the Karaoke bar or take in a game of billiards or snooker.
The resort also comprises with three bars namely, Boli bar, Pool bar & Palm terrace where guests could choose a fine selection of cocktails, beers, wines by the glass and fresh juices which are available throughout the day.

At Health & Spa Centre - aroma therapy, sauna and steam bath, beauty saloon and massage therapy are available for guests. With experienced therapist at the Araamu spa, you could experience and take advantage of a complete relaxation.
There is a Sports Centre with indoor badminton, squash, floodlit tennis court, volleyball and a gym and aerobics class. In addition, the following water sports and recreational facilities are also available at Royal Island: snorkeling, water skiing, fishing, wind surfing, sailing, canoeing, knee-boarding, ringo-riding, wake-board, water scooter/jet ski, catamaran sailing.
Other facilities include: Jewellery Shop, Souvenir Shop, Photo Shop, Business Centre with internet facilities etc.

There are 148 Beach Villa bungalows and 2 Presidential Suites which are spaciously placed
and classically designed and are equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a five star resort for your comfort and relaxation.
