Overview
Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, is a five star resort Maldives, situated on the island of Emboodhu Finolhu. Located just eight Kilometers south from Male International airport, the resort is covered with lush tropical plants and encircled by clear blue waters of one of the largest lagoons of the Maldives. The resort could be reached by only 15 minutes by private luxury speedboat which is available 24 hours, from Malé International Airport.
Once known as the “three coconut island”, the Taj Exotica resort & spa is part of The Award Winning Taj Group of Hotels. Joint winner of the Best Hotel Resort award By Harpers and Queen, this resort was built In 2002 and is recently being re-launched.
Entertainment
The 24 Degrees restaurant at Taj Exotica offers a choice of Pan-Asian & Continental cuisine whilst the Deep End, the Mediterranean restaurant offers an extensive choice of seafood as well as fine vegetarian cuisine, with a wide range of desserts, wines and cigars.
The Equator Bar displays a wide variety of wines, cocktails and a selection of Cuban cigars.
The resort is also fully equipped with a Padi diving school for beginner and advanced courses. Snorkelling, wind-surfing, water-skiing, canoeing, banana-skiing, glass-bottomed boats, fishing trips, Volleyball, Pool and Snooker, sight-seeing trips to capital Male, Sea Plan Excursion, Submarine Dives, Sunset Cruise, etc…… are some of the activities guests can enjoy at Taj Exotica.

Close at hand is the Taj Spa by Mandara, a tranquil haven where worry, stress and tension are alien. Soothing, aromatic and rejuvenating treatments are administered to guests in ocean facing rooms. For even more relaxation guests can enjoy a treatment in the New Jiva Spa.

There are 64 palm thatched villas which are built of local materials and delightfully appointed in classic Maldivian style.
The deluxe lagoon villas are built deeper in the sea, at the end of individual piers, each offering a private view of the ocean while the beach villas open out on to a never ending carpet of white sand. Cool, calm, and comforting - they are as relaxing as the ocean outside.
The Rehendhi suite, the ultimate in tropical-inspired paradise are special two-room suite (one bed room and a living room) is a haven of solitude and luxury with its own private pier. Well equipped with impeccable guest amenities as well as a separate spa room.
Each villa has a private courtyard with an open air shower.
