Soneva-fushi Resort & Spa- Maldives

Overview

Soneva-fushi, the first "Robinson Crusoe" style hideaway in the Maldives, is set on a privately owned, uninhibited, tropical paradise island of Kunfunadhoo and is located in the North Baa Atoll region of the Maldives. This is 96 km in distance from the Male International airport and the journey to the resort by seaplane will take about 30 minutes. There are sixty-five residences on this island resort surrounded by a coral lagoon. whilst offering all the modern day facilities, the utmost care has been given to make the resort environment-friendly. Soneva Fushi won the Green award in year 2001 for the environment as well as has been declared the best resort in the world by a famous English travel magazine. The Maldives tops the Diver's Hall of Fame list. Among its own honors, the Soneva Fushi was also recently voted "World's Best Resort" by the Conde Nast magazine.

Entertainment

The main dive area is the local Baa Atoll, which includes a 'Shark Nursery' within a 25-minute boat ride of Fushi. Excellent diving opportunities are supported by a professional dive school.

The other recreational & entertainment facilities at Soneva fushi are: Tennis, Swimming Pool, Table Tennis, Bougles, Volley Ball, Badminton, Board Games, Scuba Diving, Snokelling, Jacuzzi, Big Game Fishing & Excursions.

At the Main Restaurant & Me Dhuniye Restaurant guests can enjoy New world Asian cuisine at its best. Perfect blends of eastern and western food are presented with a permanent a la carte menu. There is a also daily changing five course menu available & at the Main Bar & Me Dhuniya Bar, guests are offered a selection of beverages to tempt and delight them. At the Wine Cellar, they can enjoy the best wines from around the world.

They could also choose villa dining or villa sandbank Barbeque.

Various room categories and suites are available with and without private pools. Rehendi Villa, Crusoe Villa, Soneva Fushi Villa are some of them. Two Deluxe Crusoe Villas have their own Private Pool (which are tiled with sandstone surround).
